Health concerns going too far?
Q. Do you think that the new regulations on advertising for things have taken it too far? I mean- if a kid wants fruit loops theyre going to have to ask their parents, who could easily veto it. at least theyre not advertising alchohal. im curious to what you think.. btw.. i had NO idea what category to put it in so please dont scold me for it.

A. I agree with you. It isn't the Kellogg's Corp. or the Betty Crocker Company making kids fat, it is the PARENTS. They need to DECIDE what their children are eating, how much they are eating and make sure they are getting some outside/exercise. I have 4 kids and NONE of my kids are over weight. They get their Fruity Pebbles, Cocoa Kripsies and Apple Jacks for breakfast, but it is not a huge bowl and they do go outside. It is MY job as their parent to monitor what goes into heir boys. I can go sue or go after Coors for giving my husband a beer belly, it was his choice to drink. I think that people blaming companies and large corporations just goes to show you that they don't want to take the blame on themselves for not taking better control… [cont.]
